Inside Yarmouth Arts: Anita Loomis
For her Yarmouth Maine exhibition, artist Anita Loomis delved into landscape paintings with an eye toward abstraction, form, color, and line. Tomorrowland explores aspects of our natural surroundings and considers the possible effects of climate change on plants, animals, and terrain. Loomis notes that one of her goals for the series was to explore possible positive aspects of climate change by looking for potentially beneficial evolutionary changes. Several works in this show were created especially for this exhibit and were inspired by features of nearby Royal River Park. The show was on view in April 2024.
